Apartment Maria Formosa Sep-08 Canada Mixed Group Joanne L. Maria Formosa is a spacious, well-appointed apartment that is truly within 10 minutes from Piazza San Marco once you know the way. The Campo of Santa Maria Formosa is just around the corner and offers a great fruit and vegetable stand plus several cafes and restaurants. A fabulous book store is found in the same neighbourhood. The apartment is stocked with a generous supply of linens. Just don't follow the directions from Rialto. Ask for the directions from San Marco instead - much simpler to get to the apartment from San Marco! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Apartment Maria Formosa Oct-07 USA Jean Sl The apartment was great. Close to St. Mark's Square and many other sights as well as the water busses. There is a wonderful little wine shop very close by. We brought a litre bottle from the apartment in and got it filled with a really good wine for 1.93 euros. The place could use better towels but other than that it was great. We would stay there again.
