The public boat stop nearest to Venice apartment Da Ponte is "Rialto" with the lines 1- 82 & 4 passing regularly, although the central location of this apartment allows you to enjoy navigating all of Venice on foot.

The Rialto Bridge is a three minute walk and San Marco only a 6 minute walk or even shorter if you take a traghetto for quick access over the Grand Canal.

Apartment Da Ponte has been recently renovated and is located on the 2nd floor of a traditional Venetian Palazzo on the Ruga Rialto.

The spacious living/dining room has a small balcony and a television with local channels.

There is a a separate equipped kitchenette and a dining table for 4 people.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has twins, both bedrooms has 180 views on to Ruga Rialto.

The modern marble bathroom has a shower, WC and bidet.

Apartment Da Ponte Apr-08 USA Family Group Lori G. We enjoyed staying in this apartment very much. The location a few minutes from the Rialto away from St Marco was perfect for us and the 4 of us were very comfortable. Do be aware that it is up a few flights of steep and narrow stairs and the welcome letter is dull of pleas to not drag the suitcases up, so be prepared for that. But once inside you will be very comfortable and the apartment is spacious and well maintained. There is no phone but cell coverage is very good.

Apartment Da Ponte Julia J This is a pleasant little apartment for 4 people - it's nice in having 2 good sized bedrooms. The location of this apartment is excellent - in a bustling area with lots of bars, restaurants and shops (there is even a tiny supermarket nearby) but just far enough from San Marco to escape the main tourist areas. We were able to walk to nearly everywhere we wanted to visit, except for one day when we bought vaporetto passes and explored the Lido and some of the other islands.
