Venice Apartment Corte Nova - Serenissima is located on the second floor (no elevator) of a characteristic palazzo in the heart of Venice's Castello district, only a 10 minute walk from Piazza San Marco in this perfectly Venetian setting on a pretty small canal.

The Palazzo has been completely restored in 2005 and has its own private garden, a laundry for the apartments on the ground floor and a water door which allows you to arrive by water taxi directly to your apartment.

There are also five other apartments in the same palazzo making this an excellent choice for groups traveling together sleeping up to 23 people in the same building:

Apartment Corte Nova-Serenissima Apr-07 USA Susan T. The apartment was beautiful, the journey to find it was typical of a Venetian journey. We loved the appointments of each room, the airiness and the view of the garden through the living room windows. As with alot of things in Venice, you must love to walk and carry everything over many bridges and stairs. getting to the apartment was no exception. the supermarket and the nearby wine shop were most accomodating. It felt like you were home or renting for awhile.

Apartment Corte Nova-Serenissima Apr-07 USA Suzanne S. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was immaculate and very comfortable for the two of us. It was always a bit tricky to return to it from our daily adventures, but this is the charm of Venice. I noticed that there was a restaurant only a few doors away. Unfortunately it was closed due to illness. The mercato was only a short bridge away to purchase our groceries and a few feet (or meters) from that a very nice wine shop. If you are a runner or a walker, in addition to the walking done in Venice the location of the apartment to a wider riva is a gigantic challenge and only adds kilometers to your daily distances. This was the only time I did not run in Venice, due to all the other tourists I felt it was too crowded for me. If older tourists or those who will have difficulty hoisting their luggage over many bridges to get to the apartment, take a private taxi to the apartment.
